CapSarathi 3.3

CapSarathi is a centralized information and services platform for people with disabilities (PwD), developed in collaboration with Capgemini and Sarthak Educational Trust. It aims to empower users digitally, economically, and socially, with particular focus on rural areas. The platform addresses accessibility requirements across disability categories and will support six Indian languages: Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali.

Using the platform, PwD and their families can access information such as:

• Information about government schemes, policies, and provisions including disability certificates, pensions, transport concessions, and reservations
• Details of government, private, and non-profit service providers in health, education, skill development, employment, and rehabilitation
• National and international scholarship programs
• Details of free or concessional assistive device providers
• Online resources such as braille, audio books, assistive devices, and matrimonial services
• Upcoming events such as assistive device camps and job fairs

Service supports extended to people with disability include:

• Counseling, guidance, early intervention, education, skill development, employment, career growth, and ongoing support
• Parents’ counseling and guidance for families of children with special needs
• Engagement, sensitization, and knowledge sharing with stakeholders and aspirants in the disability sector
• Updates on the latest developments in the disability sector
